A filling of oranges and dates for cookies and cakes.
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups pitted dates
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- 1/3 cup fresh orange juice
- 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 tablespoon water
Directions
1. Process all ingredients except water in food processor until smooth mixture is formed.
2. If mixture is dry add water, 1 tablespoon at a time.
