Beef Stock

If you are inclined to make your own beef stock, this is the recipe for you.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds beef meat for stock
- 3-4 beef soup bones
- 10 cups water
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 large onion
- 4 garlic cloves
- 3 carrots
- 1/2 root celery
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1 tomato
- 4 cabbage leaves
- 1 teaspoon black peppercorn
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
Directions
1. Place meat and bones in a large pot, add water and salt. Bring to boil and simmer for 1 hour. Remove foam from time to time.
2. Peel and wash the rest of the vegetables, leave them whole and put them in the stock. Season with paprika and peppercorn. Bring to boil again, and simmer for 2 hours.
3. Remove meat and bones, filter stock and add parsley.
