Mushroom Sauce

A rich creamy mushroom sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh sliced mushrooms
  • 4 tablespoons margarine
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can chicken soup
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon corn starch

Directions

1. In a sauce pan over medium heat cook the onions, green pepper, red pepper, mushrooms and margarine until mushrooms are tender.

2. Stir in the chicken soup.

3. Add water to the corn starch and blend well. Add mixture to the sauce.

4. Simmer until desired consistency is reached.
