Kosher Phildelphia Roll

Robby Richman from California shares with us his recipe for a Kosher Phildelphia Roll.
Ingredients
- Kosher Japanese Nori (seaweed)
- Cream Cheese
- Thin sliced cucumbers
- Thin sliced red cabbage
- Green onion, sliced
- Thin sliced avocodes
- Special sauce made from mayonaisse, soy sauce, mustard, brown sugar, rice vinegar
- Sushi rice
Directions
1. Make steamed sushi rice from short grained rice - put 1/2 cup rice vinegar and 1/2 cup sugar in saucepan - cook until sugar dissolves (with a dash of salt). Put steamed rice in wooden bowl and pour vinegar/sugar mixture over it.
2. Put Nori on cutting board, and put rice thinly over the Nori - put some salt and rice vinegar in bowl of warm water
3. Spread rice thinly over Nori - leaving about 1/1/2 incnes on the top. Spread the special sauce on the rice, and then put avocodes, green onions, cucumbers, red cabbage and cream cheeese over the sauce.
4. Wet hands in bowl and moisten top of Nori. Fold up Nori with hands. Slice into 3/4 inch portions, and put onto Japanese sushi serviing plate. Garnish with picked ginger. Make dipping sauce from Wasabi horseradish and soy sauce.
Enjoy.
The traditional Japanese way is to eat with hands.
