Perfect Pizza Dough

PIZZAThis is the perfect pizza dough I found after years of searching.

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 1/3 cups warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Directions

1. In a mixing bowl, mix water, sugar and yeast until yeast dissolves. Rest for 15 minutes, until foamy.

2. Add all ingredients, kneading until dough is smooth and elastic. Lightly cover dough with flour and let rest in bowl under a cloth for 1 hour.

3. Preheat oven to 430F.

4. Shape dough into pizza pan, so that dough is at least 1/3" thick. You can make it as thick (fluffy pizza) or thin (crunchy pizza) as you like.

5. Add toppings to your desire.

6. Bake for 12 minutes, or until crust is golden on the sides.
