Beef and Cabbage in Hot Sauce

 You can also use this as an appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. beef ( you can use more)
  • 1 Tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon tabasco
  • 1 Tablespoon oil
  • 2-3 Tablespoons oil
  • 1/3 head cabbage
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar

Directions

1. Cut beef into very small pieces and marinate 20 minutes in next 3 ingredients. Cut cabbage into bite-size pieces.

2. Heat 1 Tablespoon oil in pan and stir-fry garlic and beef. When beef changes color, add 1-2 Tablepoons oil and cabbage. Continue to fry on high until cabbage is lightly browned.

3. Add seasonings, stirring constantly. Try to evaporate as much liquid as possible.

4. Serve hot.
